The Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis has reached an agreement with abuse survivors, all parishes and related Catholic entities that will resolve the bankruptcy. Archbishop Bernard Hebda and Tom Abood, chair of the Archdiocesan Finance Council, addressed the media during a news conference at 2 p.m. on May 31, 2018.

We are making that video and letter from the Archbishop available here on our website, along with information about how the settlement impacts our parish.

It is in darkness and silence that abuse occurs and all too often it is only later that we realize that there were symptoms. Lay ministry volunteers, parents and catechists are in a special position to recognize signs of potential abuse suffered by children, the elderly or vulnerable adults, and bring it into the light.
